[Note: I'm working on an UFR-style post on the 2010 SDSU-TCU game, mostly because I'm bored but also because I never got the chance to actually watch that game for whatever reason, and given the apprehension surrounding the offense, it's a worthwhile exercise to actually look and see what Hoke (but, really, Borges) did at SDSU last season instead of kind of guessing. MGoBlue marches on in their all-fluff-but-let's-be-honest-we'll-take-anything-at-this-point Countdown to Kickoff, featuring Mike Martin yesterday. It's kind of hard to believe that he's already a senior, and it's going to be a sad day when he's gone. In any case, I feel good about him as the leader of the defense, but it goes without saying that he is as important to the defense as Denard is to the offense. Hopefully Mike can have an injury-free year that he can parlay into a first-round selection in next year's draft.
